Joinery Manager (Carpenter) - Malta

Salary: €35000 - €40000 gross per year; €2250 - €2550 net per month

Job Responsibilities and Duties

Be able to manage all members of the team including Sub Contractors;

Be able to produce high standards of workmanship through the team;

Be able to organise manpower, prepare/order materials, organise access requirements and Sub Contractors;

Be able to care for and communicate well with customers;

Be able to understand working drawings and communicate information to teams’ members;

Be able to use Excel spreadsheets at a basic level;

Be able to understand Building and H&S requirements, maintain safe working practices and keep H&S paperwork up to date;

Have the ability to work to deadlines and bring work in on time and budget.

Experience

Have at least 2 years' experience in a carpentry or foreman role;

Have experience in joinery installation work.

Personal Skills

Be a personable, positive, organised and resourceful problem solver;

Be capable of being a team manager and also a team player

Must be proficient in English both written and spoken;

Applicants should have an Official qualification in Carpentry.
